For years the Sludgebeast has run rampant through our quiet suburban brewery, destroying otherwise perfectly efficient brew days. Chewing up specialty malts, oats, chocolate, coffee, oak… all to no avail. 

The beast persists; a wrecker of palates, destroyer of quiet nights out, insatiable, unstoppable… maybe we can placate this monster by trapping it in a bourbon barrel, maybe it’ll mellow out, maybe it will be our friend…
